Join the Giliw-Elo Rating System
Players can now join the Giliw-Elo Rating System to have their chess progress officially recorded. This system tracks performance, calculates rating changes, and reflects your true playing strength.
How to Join
Registration is currently done manually. Interested players should fill out a short form with their basic details, including:
- Full Name
- Chess Club or Association
- Contact Information (email or phone)
- Date of Birth (for classification)
- Initial Rating Request (optional)
Submit your registration form through your local chess club or directly to the Giliw-Elo coordinator. Future updates will include an online registration system for faster approval and automatic ID generation.
How to Increase Your Rating
Your Elo rating changes after every official or recognized game you play. To increase your rating:
- Participate in rated tournaments and club matches.
- Win against players with higher ratings.
- Play consistently to maintain and improve performance.
- Track your progress and study your performance trends.
The more you compete and perform well, the higher your Elo rating will grow — a true reflection of your skill and dedication.
